Juane Xue herself characterizes these canvases because of the unique subject as “moving still lifes”. Others characterize these canvases with this original theme as “Abandoned tables”.
Color plays a decisive role in Juane Xue’s work. She tells me about this: “I like to paint light and shadow. Precisely because this expresses not only the contrast between light and dark, but also the best possibility gives to show my talent and sense of using color. For me, color and light are inextricably linked, such as a fish and water. Together they give me the feeling of freedom, relaxation and wealth. Colors form my “tool” in the relationship between light and shadow.
